Wayne L. Goldner, M.D.

Dr. Goldner received his Bachelor of Science in Biology, Summa Cum Laude, at Brooklyn College of the City University in New York. He then completed his Medical Degree at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Goldner served his four year residency at Bay State Medical Center in Springfield, Mass.  He joined Dr. Robert Lord in July, 1982 and has continued to practice exclusively at Manchester Obstetrical Associates since that time.  He provides comprehensive services in obstetrics, gynecology, infertility, high risk obstetrics, menopause and family planning.  Dr. Goldner is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Robert P. Cervenka, M.D.

Dr. Cervenka has practiced with Manchester Obstetrical Associates since 1984. He received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1976 from Emory University and attended the University of Maryland where he obtained his Medical Degree in 1980  Dr. Cervenka’s residency at the University of Chicago was completed in 1984. He is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and re-certified in 1997 and 2005. He is interested in the management of pelvic pain, endometriosis and infertility. He also has had done volunteer work for various organizations and quality assurance for the state of New Hampshire. Dr. Cervenka was appointed by Governor Lynch to the New Hampshire Board of Medicine in 2007.

Gary A. Wasserman, M.D.

Dr. Gary Wasserman received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and his Medical Degree from the State University of New York. He completed his residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass. Dr. Wasserman is Board Certified and is a Fellow of the American college of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is also a member of the Resolve, Inc. and American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopy. He has been named Top Doctor for 2005 and 2007 in the NH Magazine. He has an interest in gynecology, with special emphasis on pelvic surgery, infertility, and endometriosis. He also has an interest in pelvic reconstruction and uro-gynecology. He is certified by the Accreditation Council for Gynecologic Endoscopy in both advanced laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.

Jennifer M. Donofrio, M.D.

Dr. Donofrio received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. She attended the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond where she received her Doctorate in Medicine. Her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology was done at Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital, Roanoke, Virginia. She has extensive experience in high risk obstetrics and all aspects of gynecological surgery including laparoscopy and pelvic prolapse repair. She is performing Essure sterilization, Novasure endometrial ablation and in office cryo-ablation for management of heavy menses. She has an enthusiastic interest in well women care. She has provided gynecological services for the Manchester Teen Health Clinic since 1999.

Heidi L. Meinz, M.D.

Dr. Meinz received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at Harvard University. She then completed her medical degree at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Dr. Meinz’ residency training was done at Women and Infants Hospital (Brown University) in Providence. She offers a full spectrum of obstetric care from preconception planning to high risk pregnancy management. Other areas of interest include infertility evaluation and treatment, in office surgical management of heavy periods, and management of abnormal Pap smears and cervical dysplasia. In addition, she is experienced in all aspects of gynecology including minimally invasive surgery and out-patient surgical treatment of urinary incontinence. She lives in Bedford with her husband and 3 children.

Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses

Manchester Obstetrical Associates, P.A. offers a full range of women’s healthcare services and options of healthcare providers. Our Nurse Practitioners work in close collaboration with our physicians to provide complimentary services to enhance patient care. Our focus on wellness, nutrition and other important medical and social aspects of personal health and well being. Nurse Practitioners provide office gynecology and obstetrical care including annual exams, obstetrical visits, menopause, problem visits and PMS counseling with an emphasis on preventative care. Natural menopause case is provided. During pregnancy, our nurses assist the physicians in monitoring the health and well being of the mother and baby as well as providing counseling on nutrition, exercise, breast feeding and labor.

Brenda M. Sanborn, C.N.M.

Brenda received her Master of Science in Nursing and her Midwifery education at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She is certified by the American College of Nurse Midwives and by the State of New Hampshire as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. Ms. Sanborn enjoys providing care to women of all ages. She has a special interest in perimenopausal care and holistic approaches to healthcare.

Angela Diorio, R.N.C., M.S.N., A.R.N.P.

Angie received her RN Diploma in 1977 at Whidden Memorial Hospital, Everett, Mass. In 1994 she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of New Hampshire. She received her Master of Science in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner education at the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in 1996. She is certified as and Adult Primary Care and Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner and a member of the New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner Association and The Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses. Angie has a special interest in adolescents, obstetrics, PMS, menopausal issues with a major focus on women’s health prevention and education.

Ann Chalifour, A.R.N.P.

Ann received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1981 at the University of New Hampshire. In 1997 she received her Master's Degree and Nurse Practitioner education at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Mass. She is certified as a women’s health nurse practitioner and is a member of the NH Nurse Practitioners Association. Ann enjoys providing health care to women throughout the lifespan. She holds a special interest in adolescent to peri-menopausal care. She especially enjoys health education and promotion.

Nancy S. Clark, A.R.N.P.

Nancy received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from St. Anselm College. She received her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Maternal/Child Health from Boston College. She holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study from the University of New Hampshire in Adult Primary Care. Nancy is certified as both an Adult and Women’s Health nurse practitioner. Her special interests include adolescent health issues, obstetrics and infertility.

Tracey J. Gahara, R.N.C., L.C.

Tracey received her Associate Degree in Nursing at the New Hampshire Technical School in Manchester, New Hampshire in 1993. She is a registered nurse certified in Women’s Ambulatory health with a specialty in obstetrics and gynecology. She has additional training with urodynamics and biofeedback for stress urinary incontinence. Tracey is also a certified lactation consultant with an interest in prenatal counseling.
